HMCS Huron, 1961 & 1962.
"I joined the crew of HMCS Huron in the fall of 1961 as the youngest crew member. Per tradition, I became 'Captain for the Day' on Christmas Day, 1961. CMR W.C. Spicer was the commanding officer at that time. It was quite an experience and one that I will never forget."
